What are your rituals or traditions for starting off a new year?
Retrospection and Resolution: I spend sometime thinking about the major event over the last year and the lessons learnt. Then I make this long list about what I to be, get and do. This acts as a good way to set plans for the new year.
Cleanse and De-clutter: I cleanse and de-clutter my home and office work desk. I also de-clutter my personal computer and mailboxes.
Contact kith and kin: I contact my friends and family and wish them a prosperous year ahead. I also give away tokens of gratitude.

Yesterday, I was thinking that I didn’t have time for a lot of things. On second thoughts, I am the one squandring away the time and I am the sole person to be blamed. What I don’t understand is why am I blaming time (or the lack of it), when it is just a human created concept? Something to think about… and bother Jenny about!
I just became an MCAD (read Microsoft Certified Application Developer) on 3rd Feb. I had written the last of the three exams - in SQL Server - and scored 93%. I am so happy, because I consider this a milestone in my life.
